The first ever Aphrodite Hills Golf Academy "Festival of Golf" tees-off on May 21, 2008, finishing on May 25, 2008, and invites all Tiger Woods wannabes to try their hand at golf. During the 5-day festival, the Academy will be offering complimentary group lessons to Cyprus residents of all abilities. Whether a complete beginner or a regular player, the Golf Professionals at Aphrodite Hills guarantee an informative and fun packed golf experience.

If you have considered trying to learn the game now is your chance, and what’s more, it’s absolutely free. There is no catch, just simply pre register for the lessons by filling in one of the Festival flyers by contacting the Golf Club.

On May 24, 2008, between 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm, the golf professional will also run various mini competitions for all participants to test their newly acquired skills. The mini competitions are open to everybody, and there is no need to register in advance. The day will close with a barbeque and prize giving.

Aphrodite Hills Academy Golf Professionals are Giles Johnson, Grant Sinclair and Russell Evans. The academy is equipped with a double ended, 270 meter driving range, chipping and putting greens, 3-hole academy course which makes it the ideal place to learn or improve all aspects of the game of golf.
