Individuals, Couples & Group Lessons

The Golf Academy at Aphrodite Hills Resort, Cyprus has a variety of programmes to choose from. All lessons include equipment and driving range balls. The lessons cater for individuals, couples (two people sharing) or groups of three or more people. Please read through the description of programmes available, before choosing one which suits your requirements. All lessons are conducted by PGA golf professionals.

Lesson Programmes

• Individual and Couples Lessons - Suitable for golfers of all levels. The professional instructor will work on the key areas of your game to guarantee improvement. A plan or course of lessons could be established following a full analysis.

• Computerised Swing Analysis System – The Academy is equipped with the most up to date computer swing analysis system. The system can be used for a wide range of coaching and in brief; it will analyse an individual's entire golf game using slow motion video; it has the ability to stop and analyse a swing at any given point; it can compare any swing to the world’s best golfers at the same time and use on screen swing tools to show a whole host of different areas.
  Individuals only €60 (55 minutes)

• 3-Hole Playing Lesson - Suitable for all golfers. Improving course management to achieve the ultimate goal, lower scores!

• 9-Hole Course Management Lesson - Suitable for all established golfers. Working on course management to achieve lower scores. Improving specific areas of mental approach, including relaxation and focus techniques.

Multi-Lesson Packages

• Beginner Golf Programme - Suitable for the complete beginner. Consists of a series of lessons on the driving range, teaching the key fundamentals, including the grip, set-up, swing movements and some basic short game. This great introduction to the swing will also include some of the basic rules and etiquette.
  Individuals €199 (4 x 45 minutes)
  Couples €220 (4 x 45 minutes)

• 4 Lesson Programme - Suitable for intermediate and advanced golfers. The professional instructor will analyse a pupil's entire golf game on the 3-hole Academy Course and write a 3 lesson programme working on the key areas which require improvement. Advice on course management, rules and practice drills is also given.
  Individuals €199 (4 x 45 minutes)
  Couples €220 (4 x 45 minutes)

• Short Game Course - The Short Game is an area where all amateur golfers can improve their scores. All aspects of short game will be trained and practice drills given, providing instant improvements in scoring.

• Group Tuition - Designed for everyone. Organize a group of friends or colleagues, either as beginners or regular golfers. The content of the programme will be designed to suit the needs of everyone within the group.
  €24 per person per hour (minimum 3 people, 60 minute lesson)

• Academy Membership - Membership of the Academy is a great way to learn and play golf at Aphrodite Hills Resort. Take advantage and use all the facilities including the 3-hole Academy Course, driving range and short game practice areas. All packages include 4 individual or couples lessons, minimum of 10 credits for driving range balls, unlimited access to our 3-hole Academy Course consisting of 2 x par 4’s and 1 x par 3.  Golf Shop discounts when purchasing any golf clubs.

• The Handicap Holiday Package – In association with the Cyprus Golf Federation, this series of lessons covers all aspects of the game. Players receive an official handicap issued by the CGF upon successfully completing the Handicap Holiday Package lesson series and tests. This package includes the following:

  • 2 hours daily tuition for a 5 day period
  • All Aspects of the game covered including rules and etiquette
  • Club rental
  • Range balls with tuition
  • Trolley hire
  • 5 day Green Fee for Academy Course
  • An official membership and handicap certificate from The Cyprus Golf Federation

  
  Individual Price: €700 + €50 Membership
  Couple Price: €895 + €100 Membership

Junior Golf Academy Membership

• Junior Membership - Suitable for golfers born between 1994 - 2004. Join our Junior Golf Academy for €55 per month or pay €550 for the entire season (10 months) and get 1 month free. Annual subscription fee: €55 (includes an Aphrodite Hills Polo Shirt, Aphrodite Hills Cap and 10 credits for 42 balls for driving range use and practice areas. Will be given before every semester Sept/Dec/March).

  • 4 x 1.5hr golf lessons every Saturday afternoon from September 2009 until June 2010.
  • Follow the “Junior Passport Scheme” which will lead to an official Handicap.
  • Junior golf clubs and golf balls will be provided during the lessons.
  • Unlimited access to play the Academy Course (outside of normal teaching restrictions) and subject to availability. Starting times to be reserved.
  • A Golf Tournament will be organized on the last Sunday of the month.

• Junior Elite Membership - The Aphrodite Hills Junior Elite Membership is a membership offered to all juniors in Cyprus. The Elite Membership is for juniors who already have an official Golf Handicap of 36 or better for girls and 32 for boys.
  Join our Junior Elite Membership for €70 per month or pay €840 for 1 year and get 1 month free.
  Annual subscription fee: €70 (includes an Aphrodite Hills Polo Shirt, Aphrodite Hills Cap and 10 credits for 42 balls for driving range use and practice areas. Will be given before every semester Sept/Dec/March).

  • 4 x 1.5 hr golf lessons every Saturday afternoon from September 2009 until June 2010.
  • Unlimited use of the Aphrodite Hills Golf Course. When playing 18 holes, the junior must be accompanied by an adult to drive the buggy. Buggies will be free of charge.
  • Tee times for playing 18 holes only available after 2.00pm. Walking the back 9 Tee times - early morning availability only. Exceptions will be granted in low season months and on request.
  • Free use of the Academy Course, subject to availability. Starting times to be always reserved.
  • The Junior Elite Member is entitled to reduced members Open Tournament rates.
  • A 9-hole walking tournament will be organized at the end of every month.
  • Junior Club Championships will take place in June 2010.
  • You will be part of The Junior Aphrodite Hills Team which competes with other Golf Clubs in Cyprus.
  • An Aphrodite Hills Junior Elite Membership pass.
  • Theory test both practical and written.

Notes:

1. All packages are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
2. All lessons include the use of range balls and equipment.  *A €25 supplement is applicable per person for the 9 hole playing lessons
3. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
4. For individuals or groups cancelling less than 48 hours prior to lesson, the full 100% fee will be charged.
5. All rates are in Euros, net to Aphrodite Hills, include VAT and valid until November 30, 2011.
