Theseus, the greatest of all the Greek heroes and slayer of the fearsome half-man, half-bull Minotaur, is the inspiration behind the latest village at Aphrodite Hills.

It is arranged around three terraces with commanding views towards the sea and the horizon and while each terrace has its individual character, there’s a charming synergy to the whole village. The architects have capitalised on the natural contours of this elevated site to achieve a feeling of space and harmony.

There are three styles of apartments in Theseus Village, each of which – Hyppolite, Phedra and Ariadne – is named after the lovers of Theseus himself. Villas
Named after the mythical weapon of choice of Theseus, the Ropolo, the villas at Theseus Village will be located at the edge of a ravine. Each villa has a private swimming pool and generous terrace, from which owners and their guests can enjoy spectacular views to the Mediterranean.

A covered Cypriot village-style porch leads into the entrance foyer with guest cloakroom, creating a welcoming environment.  To the left is the spacious kitchen and to the right a comfortable bedroom with en suite shower room that could be just perfect for visiting relatives or friends.  The dining room and living room with its feature stone fireplace open on to delightful covered terraces leading to the pool.

Upstairs, three bedrooms lead off the generously sized lobby.  The larger master bedroom has a luxury bathroom with double vanity and private terrace for taking in the breathtaking Cypriot landscape; while the second and third bedrooms – one with private panoramic terrace – share a convenient shower room.

Junior Villas
There are two styles of junior villas in Theseus Village: Aethra and Aegeus, named, respectively, after Theseus’s mother and father. As with all the villas, the junior villas will be sited along a ravine edge, taking advantage of the panoramic sea view beyond. Available in a choice of two or three bedrooms, every property has extensive terraces which extend out into a private garden with private pool looking over the natural landscape.

The living and dining areas feature tall, elegant windows facing the gardens and are arranged on either side of the entry foyer, with the dining area easily served by the large open kitchen.  All master bedrooms boast en suite bathrooms and private terraces for additional seclusion.  And, in keeping with the apartments, the junior villas are sold beautifully appointed with fixtures, fittings and fine furnishings.
