The Retreat is pleased to inform our clients that the Gym & Fitness Studio has now been refurbished and we now have a new set up of gym equipment, some exciting new facilities on the way such as Plasma TV screens to watch while you work out, and also we are delighted to announce the start of our fitness classes to complement our existing yoga classes.

Timetable for Fitness Classes

  • Monday:
    • 9:30 am -10:30 am: Body Tone
    • 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Aerobics
  • Tuesday:
    • 9:30 am - 10:30 am: Body Tone
    • 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Circuit Training
  • Wednesday:
    • 9:00 am -10:15 pm: Yoga*
  • Thursday:
    • 9:30 am -10:30 am: Circuit Training
    • 5:30 pm -6:30 pm: Aerobics
  • Friday:
    • 9:30 am -10:30 am: Aerobics
    • 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Stretch & Relax
  • Saturday:
    • 9:00 am - 10:15 am: Yoga*
    • 11:00 am - 12:00 noon: Circuit Training

Class Descriptions

  • Aerobics: Improve your cardiovascular fitness and tone up in a fun, group environment. Regular aerobic activity will strengthen your heart, you’ll breathe better and feel better. You’ll also improve your co-ordination and flexibility while working out to exciting music.
  • Circuit Training:  The quickest way to burn calories and strengthen your body. Circuit training combines an excellent aerobic workout with all-over muscle toning. By moving rapidly from one piece of equipment (or ‘station’) to the next you keep up your heart-rate. The harder you work, the fitter you’ll become.
  • Body Tone:  Become stronger and fitter in this fun, challenging class. Free-weight and floor exercises are combined to target each part of the body and burn fat at the same time. You’ll leave feeling and looking great.
  • Stretch and Relax: Reshape, rebalance and realign your body. Learn to de-stress and unwind while becoming more supple, leaner and stronger. You’ll also learn new relaxation techniques and improve your posture in this unique class.

Please ensure you contact The Retreat one day in advance to book, as places for all classes are limited. There is a CYP 5,00 fee for joining each class (CYP 4,00 for owners/members), or you can pay a monthly fee of CYP 25,00 to upgrade your membership to include all classes (*excluding yoga).
