On October 17th 2019, IAGTO the International Association of Golf Tour Operators, has granted Aphrodite Hills Golf PGA National Cyprus, at the 5-Star fully integrated Aphrodite Hills Resort in Cyprus the IAGTO Golf Experience Award 2020.
In celebration of the 20th IAGTO Awards they have introduced this new category for 25 leading golf destinations. The Global Trade Association of the Golf Tourism Industry with 680 golf tour operators from 65 different countries casted their votes for these awards.
The winner was announced in the Bivouac du Desert, Marrakech, Morocco, in front of an audience of 1500 international golf tourism delegates at the opening of the International Golf Tourism Market. Aphrodite Hills Resort has received the accolade ‘IAGTO Golf Experience Award 2020’.
Every year, at this event, the association rewards the outstanding achievements of many emerging and consolidated golf destinations as well as individuals golf resorts, thereby promoting its primary objective; to raise industry wide standards of the segment and help destinations position themselves not just to attract more business, but to provide the best possible experience for the visiting golf traveler.
