The 25th Logicom Cyprus Marathon commenced on Sunday 12th March 2023 at 7.30am, from Petra tou Romiou – the mythological birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love; following along the coastal route and finishing at the scenic Paphos Medieval Fort Square.
The Aphrodite Hills Team, proud supporters of the Logicom Cyprus Marathon, were at the first 3km refreshment station, waiting for the runners to pass by and to cheer and support them all.
The Logicom Cyprus Marathon is the oldest and most historic marathon to be held on the island, having first been organised in 1999. It is now recognised as the most well-organised, most popular and friendliest running event in Cyprus.
Throughout the course of the 40km route the runners had the opportunity to discover the small and traditional villages of Paphos with refreshment stations located every 3km.
