VACANCY: Sales Office Administrator

Aphrodite Hills Resort, Europe’s multi-awarded destination and one of the must-visit resorts in the world, is looking for a passionate candidate to join the Tennis Academy Team.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • General day-to-day office administrative tasks and co-ordination, reporting to the Sales & Marketing Executive.
  • Act as the second point of contact for all sales activities relating to Holiday Residences in the absence of the Sales & Marketing Executive.
  • Direct assistant to the Sales & Marketing Executive but also work closely with the other Resort Elements and Operators (Golf, Spa, Tennis, Football, Events, VSQ, Horse Riding, Real Estate, Property Management, rentals, and hotel) to achieve maximum exposure and assist to co-ordinate all in-house and external sales efforts.
  • Respond to any internal or external sales enquiries via telephone or email.
  • Assists the Sales & Marketing Executive whenever assigned, focusing mostly on managing the sales administration, schedules, and deadlines for distribution of any documentation and correspondence.
  • Handle wherever required any necessary correspondence and contracting with tour operator & travel partners.
  • Liaise between other departments of the resort and the client/ partner to provide any sales related assistance, information, and service in a timely manner.
  • Assisting or representing the Sales & Marketing Executive during their absence. for any press, travel agent or tour operator visits.
  • Collaborate with eBusiness or Marketing teams to assist in the preparation of content throughout all online channels to increase sales.
  • Assist where required in any marketing activities i.e. Photo-shooting, video creation, imagery distribution and marketing collateral.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Higher education graduate (Secretarial Studies/BA in Business Administration)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience in hospitality/ travel & tourism will be considered as advantage
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of English & Greek, both written and spoken.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of social media channels.

Job Summary

Develops and manages prioritized execution of strategic marketing plans for Resort Sales & Marketing segment. To assist in delivering both business and financial objectives. Effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external sales partnerships to maximizing the on-site Resort message of integration and ultimately increasing brand positioning and awareness.

The person who is responsible for the implementation of the overall marketing plan, both locally and abroad. This person has continuous communication with agents and supervision of the organisation of exhibitions and launching of events and supervision of the preparation of promotional materials. Monitors marketing and PR expenses and participates in the preparation of the Resort’s strategic plan.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Important contribution in setting marketing goals and objectives.
  • Determine KPIs for marketing department.
  • Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions.
  • Ability to stay up to date with the latest technology and latest marketing practices.
  • Monitoring of marketing and PR expenses in relation to the corresponding budgets as per established procedure
  • Organises and coordinates the launching of events locally and abroad
  • Develop strategic plans and recommendations in increased awareness, increase revenues of all resort elements through various marketing actions
  • Partner with resort elements on the development and execution of integrated long term and short-term plans to maximise exposure
  • Partner collaboratively with trade marketing and individual channel partners to develop strategic and comprehensive marketing communication plans ensuring a consistent and cohesive resort message aligning with overall objectives and goals. Identify and implement initiatives that develop and strengthen positioning of the resort.
  • Develop marketing strategies with the world’s top sporting bodies to deliver internationally renowned and televised sports events
  • Oversees all digital ‘E commerce’ activity and PR, communications

Requirements and Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Management, or similar relevant field.
  • At least 7 years of marketing experience preferably in travel, tourism and/or hospitality industry
  • International Experience in marketing will be considered as an advantage
  • Regularly produce and present reports.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of English & Greek, both written and spoken.
