1.1. Introduction

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE.
By using this website, you signify your acceptance of these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use this website.

WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms at any time.
Please check these terms periodically for changes.

Your continued use of WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM following the posting of changes to these terms will mean your acceptance of these changes.

1.2. Reservation Policy

1. The reservation process is available only in English.
2. The reservation process is only available in Euro.
3. The reservation process includes three (3) steps:
Step 1: Availability & Prices | Step 2: Reservation Review | Step 3: Confirm Reservation Request
4. The reservation request is finalized in step three (3) of the reservation process by clicking “Confirm Reservation”. Please note that you will receive a Reservation Request Confirmation email. When receiving a Reservation Request Confirmation email, then your booking is NOT confirmed and an email reply will be sent to you as soon as possible (within a maximum of 48 hours) by our reservations department. All bookings requests are subject to availability by our reservations department.
5. After the confirmation of your reservation request, the guest has the right either to cancel (please read the cancellation policy) or to amend his/her reservation contacting our Reservations Department reservations_mgr_AH@atlanticahotels.com
6. For direct groups and/or direct wedding bookings, please note that if members of the party are on an All-Inclusive basis, then it is our hotel’s policy that all other bookings must be on the same board basis in order to be accepted.
Check in: 14:00 hrs / Check out: 12:00 noon. A late checkout room can be arranged, subject to availability, at an extra charge and payable at the reception.

1.3. General

A contract concluded on this website will be valid only if the other contracting Party is an adult natural person, having the right to establish a contractual relation, or a registered legal entity having the right to establish a contractual relation as a legal entity.
By using this website, the user accepts financial responsibility for all uses of this website by her/him and/or other persons using it under her/his responsibility.
These Terms and Conditions provide for the terms of the contractual relation between WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM acting as supplier for various accommodation packages and a client and/or customer using this website and/or purchasing services through it (hereinafter referred to as “the client” or “the customer”).
WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM provides accommodation in several owned or managed hotels offered on this website.
The provision of such hotel stay arrangements will be subject to these terms as part of the conditions of contract with us. Hotels that only accept bookings with an age minimum of 16yrs reserve the right to refuse check in upon arrival If any bookings are made with clients with age lower than 16yrs.

1.4. Rates

All rates are in the currency specified each time. The rates are subject to changes due to currency fluctuations, the increase of VAT or of any other taxes. Any such increase/decrease will automatically affect the published rates. The valid rates for any service booked are as published on the website at the time of reservation.

1.5. Payment Terms

Payments for the services chosen and agreed on must be done as displayed within this website and/or system.
By clicking on the “Book now” button after entering your credit card number you are deemed to be submitting a binding offer to the Company.
No contractual or other obligations will be created for WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM, unless payment in full is received by WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COMfor all the services to be provided to the customer/ client and agreed on through this website.
Your options for payment are as follows:

Payment Policy
1. Deposit at the time of booking:
a. For one (1) night stay, a 30% deposit is required.
b. For two (2) to six (4) nights stay, a deposit of one (1) night is required.
c. For five (5) to seven (7) nights stay or more, a deposit of three (3) nights is required.
2. All accounts must be settled prior to departure.
3. All major credit cards are accepted. No personal cheques.
4. Please note that the credit card used to pay for the deposit and I.D must be presented at the reception upon arrival for clarifications. Otherwise, the hotel reserves the right to deny the reservation. For other methods of payment, please contact our Reservations Department prior to your arrival

1.6. Cancellation

Cancellation for all services made at least 30 days away are free of any cancellation fees.
Any cancellation by the client within 21 days prior to the arrival date shall render their account liable to a cancellation fee equivalent to 1-night’s stay.
Any cancellation by the client within 24-hours prior to the arrival date shall render their account liable to a cancellation fee equivalent to the entire stay .
Bookings with stays during the period from 15/7 until 31/08 are non-refundable irrespective of the cancellation date.
No refund is available for early departures (partial or full) according to the above.
In the event of a confirmed booking being unavailable, WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM will endeavor to offer an Alternative solution of the same or higher standard in same location or manner. In the event where this is not possible WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM may offer a full refund if this Alternative solution is not preferred. WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM reserves the right to cancel a reservation in the event of system error, system malfunction and or price calculation error.
Hotels that only accept bookings with an age minimum of 16yrs reserve the right to refuse check in upon arrival If any bookings are made with clients with age lower than 16yrs.

1.7. Star Ratings And Quality Of Accommodation

The client/customer/partner acknowledges that star and any other ratings are merely a general outline based on the official rating of Cyprus where WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM is operating and may not be relied up on to identify the quality of the accommodation. Standards can vary within the classifications, and this is usually reflected in the price.
The same applies for amenities offered and contracted such as: Single rooms, baby cots, roll down or pull out, or extra beds and any other amenities described.

1.8. Accuracy Of Information

WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM has taken reasonable care to ensure that the content of the website including the hotel and other information are accurate.
THE CUSTOMER/CLIENT/PARTNER ALSO ACKNOWLEDGES THAT: (I) WHILE WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM ENDEAVOURS TO KEEP ACCURATE AND UP-DATED ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THIS WEBSITE, WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM IS TAKING FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR MISLEADING INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE WEBSITE.
If a certain facility is important to the client, then the client/customer should check with WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM that this facility or feature will be available during the client’s dates of stay.

1.9. Restriction Of Liability

WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM will not be liable for any damages or injury caused by, including but not limited to, any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation of transmission, computer virus, or line failure.

1.10. Complaints

Should the customer have reason to make a complaint, the complaint must be made and a remedy requested immediately on location to the office referred to in the confirmation. The right to raise claims is invalidated if a participant omits to notify a defect on location.

1.11. Duty To Cooperate

In the event of disruption to the Services provided each participant is obligated in the framework of statutory regulations to cooperate in avoiding or minimizing possible damage.

1.15. Force Majeure

If as a consequence of Force Majeure, WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM is obliged to curtail, Alter or cancel a booking and/or any services agreed, the partner and/or client/customer shall not be entitled to claim compensation for any loss arising as a consequence of the said curtailment, alteration or cancellation.
The term “Force Majeure” includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, fire and any other destruction of any accommodation booked, riots, acts of civil or international war, natural disasters, fires, exercise of municipal, legislative, military or other authority, strikes, industrial action, or any other reason beyond the control of . 1.16. Amendment To These Terms And Conditions

WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
This Agreement cannot otherwise be altered without prior consultation and agreement with WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM

1.17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement between WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM and the Client and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter and may not be amended or modified unless expressly agreed by WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM in writing.

1.18. System Integrity

The usage of any device, routine, or software which inhibits or interferes with the running of the WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM website or any booking concluded upon it is strictly prohibited.
Any action which creates a load on WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COMor infrastructure which may be considered unreasonable or disproportionate is strictly prohibited.

1.19. No Guarantee Of Continuous Access To This Website

WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM does not guarantee continuous access without interruption to its website, nor does WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM guarantee secure access to its services.

The performance of WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM may be interfered with many factors outside its control.

1.21. Extent Of Validity Of Terms And Conditions

Any Party buying services from this website acknowledges that the provision and the purchase of such services are done according to these Terms and Conditions.

1.22. Assignment Is Not Allowed

the Partner/client/customer may not assign, subcontract convey or delegate his/her rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

1.23. Use Of Personal Information

the person purchasing and/or booking services from this website agree that these Terms and Conditions are reasonable.
The user consents to the use for information on WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM and / or the owner of this website processes personal data, we refer you to the Privacy Policy published by the website and kindly invite you to read through it

1.24. Miscellaneous

the user agrees that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists with WWW.APHRODITEHILLS.COM and/or the owner of this website as a result of the use of this website or the purchase and/or booking of services through this website.

1.25. Reservation Amendments

Reservation amendments such as travel dates, room type or any other changes on the already confirmed online booking must be co-ordinate and confirmed by the Hotel’s reservation department. Additional charges may apply.

1.24. Severability

The invalidity of one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions does not signify the invalidity of the whole Terms and Conditions.

Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences Terms and Conditions

Payment

      1. If a reservation is made more than six (6) weeks prior to the scheduled arrival, twenty-five percent (25%) deposit is required to secure the reservation. The balance will be taken two (2) weeks prior to arrival. In the event that the booking is made less than six (6) weeks before the scheduled arrival, then full payment is required. Payment may be made by either credit card or bank transfer directly to our bank account

Minimum duration of stay

      1. Minimum duration of stay is for two nights. AHHR also reserves the right to decline confirmed bookings in the months of July and August for less than 7 days stay or other peak periods (such as Christmas, Easter, public holidays or other events).

Cancellation policy

      1. Cancellation fee: the 25% deposit payable/due with the confirmation of the booking is non-refundable.  However, for cancellations within fourteen (14) days of arrival it is redeemable for other accommodation booked within the next six months.  For cancellations less than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival, or for ‘no shows’, or for cancellations during the guests’ stay, the full amount will be payable/due. In the case that accommodation is booked along with any leisure activities on and off the resort (i.e. golf rounds, spa treatments, etc), the cancellation policy of the Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences will override any cancellation policy of the specific activity.

Electricity Units

      1. A Kw/h reading will be made upon your arrival and departure and details will be available within your property. The maximum limit of consumption per week is as follows: 1 bedroom properties: 300KWH, 2 bedroom properties: 400KWH, 3 bedroom properties: 500KWH, 4 bedroom properties: 600KWH and 5 bedroom properties: 700KWH. Each unit used above this limit will be charge at 0.25 euro cents. In the event of excess usage, the guest consents to his/her car being charged for the appropriate amount. With considerate usage, it is rare to exceed the electricity allowance, however the limitations are in place to ensure that our guests are conscious of their usage and consider the environmental impact of excessive electricity consumption.

Accommodation service

      1. Though it is a rare occurrence, properties can be affected by water or electricity shortages and supplies can be cut off without notice for varying periods of time. In addition, you may find that the electricity may trip if too many appliances are used at the same time. These resources are provided by the municipality and Cyprus Electricity Board AHK and so these infrequent situations are out of our control. Whereas we will make every attempt to ensure that these infrequent issues do not cause inconvenience and discomfort to our guests, Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences (AHHR) bares no liability for such instances and therefore no compensation either monetary or otherwise will be offered, however if deemed necessary, alternative  accommodation will be provided. Although many properties offer internet connection we cannot be held responsible for any temporary failure of this facility.

Air-conditioning

      1. The cost of any air-conditioning is included in the accommodation price; however the A/C units must only be used while you are in the property, with all windows and doors kept closed. Depending on the type of property you are renting, AHHR has given a specific daily allowance in kw/h as noted in “Electricity Units” above.

Housekeeping Service

      1. All properties are cleaned prior to arrival. Apartments and Junior Villas receive one mid-stay clean per seven night stay where towels and linen are changed. Superior villas receive one cleaning and linen change per four night stay.
      2. Elite villas receive daily cleaning. A departure cleaning is included and based on the understanding that the property will be left tidy at the time of check-out and all personal waste is be removed from the property by the guest. In the event that this is not followed additional charges will apply ranging from €45 to €185 based the type of property and the level of cleaning needed.
      3. Our housekeeping team is at hand to provide extra cleaning services at an extra charge.

Damages

      1. All properties are privately owned and for security reasons the approved credit card number given will be charged in case of any damages. The allocated property is inspected prior to arrival and the relevant check list can be found in the property for the client’s perusal. If any items checked are not in order the guest should report this to Guest Relations Administrator within 24 hours of arrival, otherwise it will be assumed that the guest is in agreement with the inspection. The property will be re-inspected for any damages on the departure day. AHHR reserves the right to ask for a refundable amount against damages ranging from €400 to €800 based on the type of property. This will be released 5 working days after the departure. The guest agrees that the credit card given will be charged in case of any damages incurred.
      2. Breakages & Cleanliness: Customers are not permitted to move any furniture or equipment without prior written consent from ourselves. Under no circumstances must any furniture for use inside the property, be moved outside.

Etiquette

      1. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property. In such circumstances the accommodation owner/s and AHHR have the right to terminate arrangements made on your behalf, no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result. Further, you will be liable to reimburse AHHR for any expenses whatsoever it incurs as a result of your behavior.

Property Allocation

      1. Every attempt will be made to allocate you in your chosen property. If deemed necessary AHHR reserves the right to withdraw cancel or provide alternative accommodation of a confirmed booking. In this unlikely event you will be offered the choice to reside in another property through AHHR (subject to availability) with the price difference payable/refundable as appropriate, or of receiving a refund of all monies paid to AHHR. No further compensations of any nature will be due to the guests, and AHHR will not be liable.
      2. Property Details: All properties are well equipped and include linen and towels (except beach towels).  All properties are privately owned and decorated and furnished to owners’ individual taste.  Maximum occupancy is 2 persons per bedroom. One infant in a cot is permitted per bedroom. AHHR reserves the right to decline access to the property for tenants that exceed the maximum occupancy of the property, with additional financial penalties of up to 2 times the daily rate of the period booked.

Swimming pools

      1. Properties with private swimming pools are for private use only. Communal pools are only for the use of the occupants of the properties. Health and safety regulations are applicable to all outdoor facilities including swimming pools.

Heated Pools

      1. Heated pools are only available when stated in the relevant accommodation description. Most heated pools are electrically heated and may take up to two days to heat. The temperature of the pool will also depend on the weather conditions, especially if it is solar heated, however if a pool cover is available, its use will assist in maintaining the pool temperature at night. A charge will be incurred for pool heating which may be payable locally or on your booking invoice. If you require a property with a private pool that can be heated (subject to availability) this should be stated at the time of booking.
      2. Pets: Pets are not allowed in any property or any communal area including swimming pools at any time.
      3. Insects/animals: Mosquitoes, ants and other insects are endemic in warmer climates, particularly in the country areas. Preventative pest control is carried out throughout the resort at frequent intervals. Should any incident occur, we recommend that you contact our guest relations team.

Building work

      1. It is the case that some resort areas are still being developed and therefore there is a possibility of building work or construction work. Work may begin on a neighboring property over which we have no control, nor are we given prior notice. In the event of disruption caused by building work, a property of same type and at a different location will be offered to the guest. No further compensations of any nature will be due to the guests, and AHHR will not be liable.

Special requests

      1. Every effort will be made to meet any special requests of the guest. Special requests are treated as an indication of preference and cannot be guaranteed. All special requests must be stated at the time of booking or requested in writing two days prior to the arrival.

Photographs

      1. Photographs are intended to give an overall impression of individual properties. The Management does not accept any responsibility for items of furniture etc, which appear in photographs that may have been changed or removed, nor for any changes to aspects which may have changed since photographs were taken.

Advertising refunds policy

      1. Should purchase be made on any services via AHHR e.g. car rental, excursions, rounds of Golf or Spa treatments, etc, the monies used to pay for these services are not refundable.
      2. Information Sharing and Disclosure: AHHR highly honors your privacy and will never trade, sell nor buy any data including email addresses or other information disclosed during any transactions you might engage in with us. We shall not under any circumstances disclose your personal information to non-affiliated individuals or companies without your express permission. We will only provide the information required to other Aphrodite Hills companies and Lanitis Development Ltd as affiliated companies to AHHR to communicate with you about projects, prices and services on offer.

Liability

      1. AHHR is a Rental company. Even though we use all resources at our disposal to ensure information provided and the quality and facilities of the properties, we cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any problems that occur while guests occupy the villa of their choice. All information has been provided in good faith and no liability is accepted whatsoever by AHHR for any misrepresentation of villa material or accommodation. We accept responsibility to provide the accommodation as described on our website, but shall not be liable in circumstances where we are prevented from providing the accommodation because of events outside our control, such as flood, fire, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, war, threat of war, civil disturbance or acts of any local or national government.

Currency

      1. All prices mentioned are in Euros unless otherwise stated and are accurate at the time of reservation and will not be altered after confirmation of the booking has been received.

Flights

      1. AHHR will not be held responsible for changes and or timetable alterations made by the airlines and will not make any refunds due to cancelled flight bookings. When booking flights please advise us of arrival and departure times as soon as possible. This is to ensure that your dates correlate with the set check in and checkout times of 2:00 pm and 10:00 am respectively.

Special discounts

      1. From time to time various discounts will be offered on properties in our portfolio. The cost payable by you is the advertised price of the property at the time of booking.

Insurance

      1. Please ensure you have covered your party with travel insurance as neither AHHR nor the property owners will be held responsible in any way for injury and death that may result while renting or using any of the properties offered by AHHR.

Lost & Found

      1. Please ensure all personal possessions are packed when departing your accommodation. Whilst we will endeavor to assist when items are left, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee the return of any items which have been left unattended and will not be liable for any items lost or damaged in transit. Postage, packaging and handling fees may be applied for the return of lost property. Please avoid leaving valuables or cash prominently displayed within your property and always ensure that all windows and doors are locked prior to leaving the property.

Children’s safety

      1. As we know, children are naturally curious, especially when on holiday where there are lots of areas and things to be explored. Please ensure that children are not left unsupervised at any time during your holiday and take extra care with balconies and swimming pools etc. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times. Please take extra care with children if your pool is described as an ‘infinity pool’. This style of pool will have an open drop from the pool edge.

Satellite TV

      1. Properties that have satellite receivers cannot be guaranteed satellite reception service as this is not a service provided by Aphrodite hills Holiday Residences. We consider the reception signal and quality of the picture received an additional benefit, that a property may have available during the guest’s stay, since this is subject to weather conditions and other factors.

Disabled travelers

      1. AHHR does not provide properties which are specifically designed for disabled access or use. Properties may be suggested for such use, however no alterations can be made to the properties and AHHR can not be held liable for any injuries, inconvenience or damage as a result.

Distances

      1. Distances are measured by car, unless otherwise stated in the description.
      2. Changes to this privacy policy: AHHR reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Should this be done, we shall notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your details or by placing a prominent notice on our site.

 

The Retreat Spa Terms and Conditions

Arrival at “The Retreat Spa”

      1. We recommend that you check in at Spa Reception at least 20 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. This allows you ample time to complete a consultation form & change for your treatment. Please understand that late arrivals will not receive an extension of their treatment

General

      1. In the interests of the comfort, safety and relaxation of all of our guests, we ask that the following guidelines are followed at all times:
      2. The Retreat Spa and its environs are strictly no smoking areas.
      3. We do not allow mobile phones in our customer areas – please leave them switched off in your locker. This is the time for your body and mind to release the worries and stresses of the day.
      4. Please conduct all conversations at levels consistent with a relaxing Spa environment.
      5. The Retreat Spa and fitness facilities are open to persons aged 16 and over.
      6. Pool towels can be found at the cloak reception or placed on the sun loungers outside on the sun deck.
      7. Shower towels can be found in your lockers, please do not take shower towels outside.
      8. Please leave all items of value in your locker. The Retreat is not responsible for loss of or damage to a guest’s personal belongings.
      9. Always shower before using pool facilities and between heat rooms. A robe and slippers should be worn in all common areas and swimwear is compulsory in all Thermae heat rooms and whilst sunbathing.
      10. Please ensure you drink plenty of fluid to rehydrate after use of our heat treatments and that alcohol and coffee consumption is kept to a minimum.
      11. Food and drink should not be brought into The Retreat for consumption during your visit. Refreshments are available in all relaxation areas and the Spa Restaurant & Juice Bar.
      12. All guests will be required to complete and sign a Health & Lifestyle Questionnaire upon arrival, prior to entrance to the facilities.
      13. If you have a gift voucher, please remember to bring this with you on the day to hand to Reception.
      14. All facilities are subject to availability.

Locker Rooms

      1. In single-sex heat rooms, swimwear is not compulsory, but please considers the wishes of fellow guests.
      2. A towel should always be placed on sauna benches between you and the bench.
      3. Please do not leave toiletries in showers or wet vanity areas.
      4. Shaving is permitted in the male changing rooms. However, please ensure that wet vanity areas are left clean. Razors should not be placed in any of the waste bins and shaving is strictly prohibited in the saunas and steam rooms.
      5. Please do not add oils or other products to the sauna bucket water without first speaking to a member of staff.
      6. Please place all used towels in the baskets provided.

When Taking a Treatment

      1. Please arrive in good time to enjoy the facilities and ensure that you are ready to be collected by your therapist at the allotted time. Time lost through late arrival will result in a shortened or amended treatment being offered without refund.
      2. You are entitled to use the first level facilities only if you have a treatment in the Spa and this includes full changing room facilities with locker service, fitness areas, pool and sun deck.
      3. Underwear or suitable swimwear should be worn going into the treatment room and during treatments. For some treatments you will be provided with disposable undergarments by your therapist, and suitable towel draping will be used at all times.
      4. During treatments, please let your therapist know if you are comfortable or uncomfortable, too warm or too cold, or if their pressure is too light or too firm. Your comfort and care is our greatest concern and priority.
      5. If you have a particular injury or physical condition, please explain it to the therapist. They can suggest appropriate adjustments to the treatment for your comfort and enhancement.
      6. There is no pressure to talk during a treatment. It is entirely up to you. If you have any questions or would like to talk, certainly do so. The therapist will take their cues from you. If you are quiet they will be too.

Fitness / Tennis Areas

      1. Please place the hand towels provided between you and the fitness equipment and wipe down after use.
      2. Appropriate fitness attire is required at all times. Outdoor shoes should not be worn in any fitness areas.

Cancelation Policy

      1. All taxes and charges are included in the price.
      2. Your credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. It will only be charged at the time of checkout or in case of no show.
      3. Unless otherwise stated, if you need to modify or cancel your reservation, please do so 48 hours prior to the day of your arrival and your credit card will not be billed. If you modify or cancel your reservation after this time, your credit card will be billed for the entire amount
      4. In the case that a reservation is booked along with an accommodation (Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel or Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences), the cancellation policy of the accommodation option will override any cancellation policy of the specific activity.

 

Aphrodite Hills Golf Terms and Conditions

General Rules

Reservations

        1. Advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure access to the golf course. Reservation of tee times is subject to the terms and conditions of each member’s membership agreement. Cancellation of reservations for tee times must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Registration

        1. All members and guests must register at the Golf Pro Shop before commencing to play golf on both the 18-hole golf course and the Academy Course. Members must present their membership cards upon registering as and when requested.

Starting Times

        1. Starting times are at 8 minute intervals. Flights are made up as 4 balls; therefore players booking 2 or 3 balls must expect to be paired up with other players. Please follow the Starter’s and Marshal’s instructions. Spectators or caddies are not permitted to accompany players around the course.

Hours of Play

        1. The hours of play are determined by Management and placed on display in the Golf Pro Shop.

Handicap Certificates

        1. Maximum for men is 28 and for ladies 36. The Starter or Marshal has the right to direct certain players to play from forward tees if deemed to be holding up play. Players who do not have the stipulated level of play may be asked to leave the course, with no refund given. Proof of Handicap is required.

Clubs

        1. Players may use their own golf clubs or golf clubs rented from Aphrodite Hills Golf. Each player must have their own set of clubs, as sharing is not permitted.

Metal Spikes

        1. Metal spikes are not allowed anywhere within the Clubhouse or on the golf course. Spikes can be changed to soft spikes and are available at the Golf Pro Shop. No exception will be made for shoes with non-removable spikes. Tennis shoes and trainers are not considered golf dress. Shoes are also available for hire at the Golf Pro Shop.

Lockers

        1. Lockers are available in the changing rooms and a deposit is payable at the Pro Shop. In the event of a lost key, the deposit will be non-refundable.

Beginning of Play

        1. All players must check in with the Starter before commencing play.

Playing

        1. Each player must have only one ball in play at all times when playing. Please enter and leave bunkers at the nearest level point to the green and rake for following players. Rakes are placed inside the bunker, close to the edge.

Practicing

        1. Practice is prohibited on any part of the 18-hole golf course and the Academy Course.

Tournaments

        1. All private and members’ tournaments must be approved by Management in advance.

Searching for Balls

        1. Players may search for their own ball but must not cause delays to play searching for other balls. Also, please note that Cyprus is home to many reptiles and players are advised not to search for balls in the deep undergrowth.

Marshals

        1. The Course Marshals have full authority over the golf course, speed of play, course etiquette and are there for the players’ benefit. The Marshal has the authority to ask players to leave the course if they do not adhere to the rules and those who do not have the stipulated level of play, without refund.

Children

        1. Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult at all times when playing on the 18-hole golf course. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult when accessing the course via buggy.

Range Balls

        1. Range balls cannot be used on the golf courses. Players using range balls on the 18-hole course or the Academy Course will be asked to leave the course with no refund given.

Club Cleaning

        1. Club cleaning will be undertaken by the staff before depositing golf clubs in the client’s car. There is no charge for this service and it is purely discretionary.

Course Closure

        1. The golf course will be deemed closed when the Superintendent, First Assistant to the Superintendent, or Director of Golf officially closes the course because of such reasons as inclement weather, damaged grounds, or tournament events. Alternative golf arrangements thereafter can be made at the Golf Pro Shop.

Local Rules

Out of Bounds (Rule 27)

        1. Beyond any line of white stakes
        2. On or beyond public roads
        3. Over any property bounding the course
        4. Within the grounds of the Hotel to the right of holes 8 and 9 and the Clubhouse and its surrounding areas
        5. Within the maintenance area to the right of holes 10 and 11

Water Hazards (Rule 26)

        1. Water hazards are marked with yellow stakes
        2. Lateral water hazards are marked with red stakes or red lines. Lateral hazards include areas to the left of the 8th hole and the right of holes 13, 15 and 16

Ground Under Repair (Rule 25)

        1. All areas marked by blue stakes or otherwise
        2. The ancient kiln on the 1st hole and olive presses on the 8th hole are designated as Ground Under Repair

Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24.2)

        1. Irrigation units, including sprinkler heads, control boxes and satellite stations
        2. All course furniture including information posts, marker posts (hole 18), bench seats and ball washers
        3. All buggy paths

Stones in Bunkers (Rule 24.1)

        1. Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions

Integral Parts of the Course (Rule 28)

        1. All property walls surrounding the golf course
        2. The stone walls at holes 5, 11 and 15
        3. Any rock faces, natural or man-made

Protection of Young Trees and Shrubs (Rule 24.2)

        1. Staked and specifically tagged trees and shrubs
        2. All newly-planted trees under one club length in height
        3. Penalty for breach of local rules: Match Play – Loss of Hole, Stroke Play – 2 Strokes

Buggy & Driving Rules

        1. Aphrodite Hills is a buggy-only golf course; green fees are inclusive of one buggy (two persons sharing).
        2. A buggy is only to be driven on the buggy paths provided. Do not drive on any grassed areas.
        3. Please take extreme caution when crossing public roads to access the golf course and follow all traffic signs. Please drive carefully and sensibly, especially down steep gradients leading to the 5th and 7th tees.
        4. Drivers must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a valid automobile license or provisional license to drive a golf buggy.
        5. Operating instructions for the buggies must be read and obeyed when using the golf buggies.
        6. The driving range is available for play during the operating hours of the Golf Clubhouse, unless closed for reasons such as maintenance. The use of buggies is not permitted on the Academy Course.
        7. Operation of a golf buggy is at the risk of the driver. Members and guests must read the disclaimer printed on the reverse side of their green fee ticket.
        8. Members and guests are liable for any personal injury or property damage that occurs from the use of the buggy assigned in their name. The cost of repair of a golf buggy in the event of damage will be charged to that member or guest.
        9. In order to encourage good speed of play, players are advised to take a selection of clubs to the ball and to keep the buggy level with play at all times.
        10. Range balls are only permitted to be used on the driving range and chipping green.
        11. Players using range balls on the 18-hole course or the Academy Course will be asked to leave the course with no refund given.
        12. Buggies must be returned to the designated area. Members or guests failing to do so may be fined by Management.
        13. Violation of the buggy rules may lead to loss of playing privileges and removal from the course without refund.

Etiquette

        1. Please repair all pitch marks on greens.
        2. Please replace divots on fairways.
        3. Please rake bunkers after use. All rakes to be placed inside the bunkers.
        4. Avoid slow play. Be aware of the intermediate timings for the course, as displayed on tees. If players are searching for lost balls, they must call the following group through.
        5. The 7th hole (par 3) is a call through hole – upon reaching the green, invite the following group to play before continuing to hole out.
        6. Four-Ball – maximum four and a half hours. The Course Marshal shall ensure that good speed of play and etiquette are adhered to.
        7. Please respect the privacy of residents. Do not enter any residential areas surrounding the golf course.
        8. Anyone not adhering to the above may be asked to leave the course.

Dress Code

        1. Trousers made of denim, as well as tracksuits and tennis wear are not allowed.
        2. For men, shorts must be at least of Bermuda length, socks must be at least of ankle length, and shirts must have collars and long or short sleeves.
        3. For ladies, T-shirts without a collar must have sleeves, while shirts with a collar may be sleeveless.
        4. Proper golf clothing is required at all times on the driving range.

Cancellation Policy:

        1. Tee Time Reservations must be cancelled no later than 48 hours prior to day of play. If reservation is not cancelled by this time, the credit card holder will be responsible for the full greens fees with the credit card being automatically charged.
        2. **NOTE**: Some fees collected at time of booking are non-refundable. Refer to the payment details to identify non-refundable fees.
        3. In the case that a reservation is booked along with an accommodation (Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel or Aphrodite Hills Holiday Residences), the cancellation policy of the accommodation option will override any cancellation policy of the specific activity.

 

Aphrodite Hills Tennis Academy Terms and Conditions

Reservations

      1. Advance reservations are strongly recommended to ensure access to the Tennis Courts and booking of the specific session of your liking. Reservation of courts and sessions are subject to the terms and conditions of each member’s membership agreement and according to availability. Cancellation of reservations for sessions and booking of courts must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Registration

      1. All members and guests must register at the Tennis Shop before going on court. The Aphrodite Hills Tennis Academy would like to inform all customers that payment for Tennis Lessons is required before the sessions begin. When payment is made, a receipt will be given to the customer as proof of payment. It is the customer’s responsibility to retain this receipt as confirmation that the Tennis Lesson has been paid for.
      2. All players kindly report to Reception before going on court.

Cancellation Policy:

        1. A lesson must be cancelled before 48hours of the time of booking or the booking will be charged for
