We are both humbled and honored to have hosted for the first time in Cyprus the International Junior Cup at Aphrodite Hills. It was a fantastic event to start off 2020 with 35 Juniors from 11 Countries. The event took place from 23rd – 26th of January 2020.
We are very proud to have incorporated this International Tournament amongst our events and to have Global Junior Golf as our partner, promoting the game of golf to juniors at the highest level.
The Juniors had a fantastic three competitive days on the course during this stroke play event, following an official rules night and dinner on Thursday 23rd January, giving them the opportunity to earn world ranking points.
The overall winner was Maline Kraus from Germany in the girl’s division who had three days of solid game. The overall winner in the boys division was Theodoros Michael from Cyprus and a Member of Aphrodite Hills Golf Club. The overall winner for boys 21 Category was Mason Topping also from Cyprus and a Member of Aphrodite Hills Golf Club.
